SuperGrunt
I had a similar problem with Netflix not working with my Windows 8.1 laptop and was able to find this solution on their website. I tried it for swtor.com and it allowed me to log in with out any problems. Click on the cogwheel icon in the upper right of IE should be right under the big red X.Click on Internet Options in the drop down, it's down near the bottom of the menu.Click on the Security tab it's the second one from the left, between General and Privacy.Click on the big green check mark labeled Trusted sites.Click on the button labeled Sites.Type *.swtor.com in the text field labeled Add this website to the zone:Click the button to the right of the text field labeled Add.(Optional) As you are logging into the website, and that is handled as a https for security reasons you don't have to click off the Require server verification (https: ) check box, unless you need it for something else.
