AlejandroTeresa
Hi! The title says everything I think than theres a lack of imperial symbology in imperial armors (imperial agent especifically) so I thought that it will be great to be able to customize our armors with many different symbols: imperial, republican, dread hosts, hutt cartel,... etc choosing the size, where we would like to put it, the color,... etc best regards! Prototypemind
Since there are tattoos in game, I'd assume this could be done in a similar way, though the main issue will be having enough variants so that there will be options to find one that works with a particular armor. I do like the idea though.
AlejandroTeresa
Yeah, but i refer to the armors not for the body. I was thinking in something like the "armor preview" in the game and then you choose a symbol and you move it throught the body to choose the place would you like to wear it (in a shoulder, back, armor chest,...) choosing the size and color. Here are an example of what im trying to express: http://media.pcgamer.com/files/2011/04/The-Old-RepublicTwins.jpg http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/4214/swtor2011071901253341.jpg http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/029/3/c/swtor_imperial_trooper_by_nagorkev-d4nzd9c.jpg hehe it will be cool For exmaple, if your character is a bounty hunter, have the oportunity to wear and show "the great hunt " symbol, the imperial or maybe the hutt cartels logo hehe Edited February 10, 2014 by AlejandroTeresa
Xienive
I like this idea, it would add that nice little level of detail and help add to the vibe of your character being a part of a certain group.

Tattoos on the skin are one thing because the skin in game is static. They'd have to create a few different symbol editions, and you select the one that works best. The engine definitely isn't capable of something like this being able to be set wherever you want on any character, at least not from what I've seen. Magnusheart
First off, amazing Idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, This would be extremely hard to do. HOWEVER. There is an Alternative to this, The game always has faction based gear equipping changes. Where gear changes based on your faction of wearing it. But only if you wear it. Have the exact same looking armor. For example lets say this set. http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/swtor-volatile-shock-trooper-armor-set-male1.jpg Make two copies, one with the republic symbol, one with the empire, add the faction lock like what was on the vanilla game launch gear.
