Do 2 day's worth of the Rakghoul event dailies and you'll have the Newcomer status you need to buy the relic that grants effectively-permanent immunity. You know if you explode on 3 people during the event, you get a DNA canister and a rep item? Just don't stand near the people exploding, or use one of the vaccines that last 6 hours.
