I try to play Warzones or anything related to PVP and I am getting my butt handed to me. Am I getting the correct gear? Perhaps my Skill Tree is all wrong. Banegio Posted January 22, 2014 Share Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) If you keep getting one-sided encounter in 1v1, then it is probably l2p issue. More often wz is about at the right place at the right time. If four enemies focus on you you are going to die. Then you should ask why you were there? what value to your team was your position? your death might worth something e.g. if you distracted the enemy and your team got a cap, or your team get 2 for 1 trade. teclado Posted January 22, 2014 Share Posted January 22, 2014 For pvp, I can win almost any 1v1 provided that I choose whom to engage. That's what it's all about as a shadow. You don't want to be out in the open, you'll die fast. You need to choose who and where to engage. I like the infiltration spec. I don't play my shadow as much as my other dudes, so my terminology may be off, but the formula is pretty simple: sneak up on somebody, roundhouse kick (whatever it's called), stab in back a few times, throw in a project, execute.
