Secondary weapon missiles

Look at your crosshairs. Grey if enemy is too far for both lasers and missiles. Partially yellow if in missile range, and red if in blaster and missile range.

If your enemy is in range, you need to press and hold RMB, while keeping the enemy in the missile firing cone. That's the smaller circle you see on your HUD. Lock on takes time, you see arrows coming closer and closer as locking proccess continues, and once you hear confirmation sound, release RMB and missile is on the way.

If your target manages to get out of your firing cone during lock on, you have to start again. Once missile is fired, it can still be evaded and usually will, so don't get too excited once you launch your rockets.

 

Note, Rocket pods don't require lock on, they just fly where you aim, similar to lasers.
