DunkinDavid
What do you think would be the BiS implants for healers?
CaptainApop
Any dread forged cunning/wisdom/aim implant that doesn't have accuracy on it could be BiS depending on the rest of your gear. Edited January 6, 2014 by CaptainApop
Orderken
BIS Implants for healers are Dread Forged Implants with (a) Power or Critical and (b) Alacrity or Surge. Regarding (a), BIS for a Sorcerer|Sage healer has no Critical. Regarding (b), selecting an Implant with Surge rather than Alacrity may be prudent, because BIS Enhancements with Alacrity are available on certain Warrior|Knight Legs from their Ultimate Commendations vendor. In addition, swapping between healing and DPSing is usually easier with Surge on Implants. For more information, please consult a guide for your class. FabulousDoctor
Critical is very bad returns wise, even before hitting the soft cap (which is only around 300). It's almost always consistently better to have Power compared to Critical, on any class. Alacrity also tends to be more useful than Surge, unless you have an ability that auto-crits, in which case it can be very worth having.

Alacrity also tends to be more useful than Surge, unless you have an ability that auto-crits, in which case it can be very worth having. This isn't true for healers. Both mercenaries and operatives have talents that increse surge by a lot, so they do want crit. How much is up for debate, but certainly more than 0. Also crit has no soft cap at 300, the diminishing retursn on crit are fairly low.
