What do you want now... having played the game.

Hi all,

A simple thread to get your suggestions out to the powers that be. Keep your wants to short bullet points. Please try to limit you're points to just a couple. And please no downing on others points.

1. Star fighter custom paint jobs created by using Photoshop etc.

2. Change flight mechanics to aiming your ship (traditional dog fighting) instead of the wonky cursor flying/aiming.

3. Be sure at launch to have a leveling system for match making based on flight hours or something.

1. Matchmaking to separate out premades at least

2. Better ability to hit at close range dogfighting

3. More maps with less focus on just dogfighting, and more focus on objectives (escort, assault, etc)

4. Much, much longer progression paths but reduce the amount you get from later levelups to be minimal. Provides carrots without being overpowering.

1. cosmetics unlocks legacy wide or unlocked in collections for account.

2. more cosmetics.

3. more game modes/maps.

4. more ships with unique models

5. class ships (not actual ships but ships that use the models). i.e. agent gets agent ship, sage gets sage ship ext.

1. more space maps for space pvp (it can even be a lazy moving of the asteroids)

2. Some way to display guild tags in game

3. A little more intensive of a tutorial. (emphasis on the (default) F1-F4 keys)

A "practice map" where you could take up to a group of 4 into. Call it, "Flight School" and have it be the same 2 maps that are available currently. No points, but the ability to name a player "red", "blue", or some such side determination.

I'd love the opportunity to teach some Guildies tactics while not in an actual fight.

Think about it, you can duel most places for ground PvP practice...

I want more cosmetics, that's it. :)

Not only more paint jobs, but also some logos, flags and stuff.

Actually I'd also like that NovaDive model with third engine that you can see on the swtor main page above the "Early access now live!" text. I know it will come soon, but I want it to come faster. :)

Not in order of importance...

1. Joystick support (though I'm pretty comfy with the mouse now)

2. Cokpit view (if only for the immersion factor)

3. Less RNG (I'm not a fan of crits and evasion)

4. More maps/game modes!!! I thoroughly enjoy these two maps but I think something new is in order.

5. Maybe some PvE scenarios

6. Slightly smoother controls

7. A better tutorial

8. New ship types (I know they're coming soonish so I'm not too hassled)

I think the most important thing for me is 4 at the moment

Ditto, couldn't have said it better. I'm good with the mouse. I love the game, I'd like to see more of it. If there were more map options it would be the kind of thing we could play all day and all night for months. Heck, I've played these two many hundreds of times now, and they are still fun. But I don't enjoy same faction matches as much.

It's really fun. There is room to grow and I hope that it continues to. I haven't touched the ground game since December 3rd.

1. 2 or more man ships (I fly, Kegger shoots backwards)

2. Valor or Rank for GSF

3. My hangar on Fleet to display ALL my ships. Not just my class ship.

4. Ship tramp stamps (WWII style logos)

5. Cross server WZs...

6. Mute companion for a Co Pilot.

more then anything else........

I want an extra keybind to toggle my directional shields double forward without having to cycle double rear first.

Don't know how many times i've dieded because i can't cycle fast enough and end up naked in the front.

Same faction matches are indeed less fun, however on my Imp I say "finally a chance we'll actually win" and on my Pub I say "uh-oh, we may lose this one" :p The faction difference is huge.

And yeah I resubbed just for GSF after almost a year and a half and I'm not regretting it one bit. I am taking the opportunity to level my characters as I don't play too many matches a day. I always felt that TOR was good in the story department but lacked gameplay features that suit my tastes, but now GSF has given me a good enough gameplay experience. And as I value both features - story and gameplay - equally, it's a very good thing.

Ah, I just remembered another feature I would like to see... A different mechanic when it comes to maneuvers. I like the fact that certain engines are capable of specific maneuvers, but I'd rather I could do them manually than just click the engine ability - e.g. with retro thrusters killing my engines with X and immediately holding S would boost me backwards at a reduced speed in a similar way to the current ability. Of course one wouldn't be able to pull this retro boost off with other engines. These would not actively break a lock but they could propel you out of the enemy's locking arc and could shake missiles when timed right.

This would free up a hotkey space for missile countermeasures. We could have chaff pods (short range and cooldown, lots of ammo), flares (long range, medium cooldown, limited ammo) and RTS (Return-To-Sender) electronics (medium range, inexhaustible but very long cooldown).

Either one of these changes would require a missile range counter on the HUD of course.
