danielearley
What am I talking about... Clear discrimination.... On all of the other classes I can swap my offhand armouring around as I see fit, however on the smuggler the Shotgun barrel is bound to Shotgun. How is this fair! stormdrakelord
IT is not fair because the devs feel that to be a true smuggler, you have to be hiding in cover shooting things with two blasters. Things that most smugglers NEVER use. They only fight if they have to and most of the time use a single blaster and NEVER use explosives.
Thoop
your only supposed to hide in cover till level
stormdrakelord
your only supposed to hide in cover till level 10 My point was that it was no fair because gunslingers seem to be better lore-wise than the scoundrel. some would feel the scoundrel AC was tacked on. FabulousDoctor
What am I talking about... Clear discrimination.... On all of the other classes I can swap my offhand armouring around as I see fit, however on the smuggler the Shotgun barrel is bound to Shotgun. How is this fair! All high level barrels/armourings are actually bound to their slot, so you can't, for instance, buy a belt and then put that armouring into your shield generator. Same with gunslinger's second gun, their offhand weapon at high level (read: level 55 Ops) uses offhand only barrels, which you cannot put into your main hand weapon. This was done because things like Belts/Bracers are cheaper than chestpieces/legs.
Bejarid
How is this fair! Because there's nothing unfair about it in the first place. Sentinels suffer in the exact same way; we can't rip hilts out of off-hands and put them in main-hands.

Glorthox
It used to be that smugglers used to be able to take mods from off hands and use them in main hands. Made gearing up pretty easy. Guess the dev's are biased when it comes to smugglers.
Rieverre
Actually, it used to be that purple armor wasn't bound to slot either. Yeah, that patch update didn't make anyone happy.
