Doumbek
Exactly how do you fire missiles and torpedos? Is it a right click? R click and hold + left click? I have missiles and torpedos equipped but can't get them to fire. Any help is appreciated.

GalacticKegger
Press and hold right click until the lock, release to fire.I've occasionally had to fire the primary weapon before the secondary weapon lock would engage. Sangrar
Most missles have 3 seconds lock on time, but it varies and the problem is the game does not tell you the lock on time. To see the lock on times for the missles on your ship, click on the link, it has all the stats on torpedoes that the game doesn't show, including lock on times. You can also enable the "show detailed descriptions" or whatever it's called under Preferences. This will let you see pretty much everything in that link. Sharee
Try cluster missiles. They only need 1.5 (or less) seconds before they lock on target.
Slivovidze
The dumbfire torpedoes are simple right click. All other missiles need a lock-on - hold right click until it's done. The thing is, that you need to keep your target in the missile circle of the HUD. That is the smaller, inner circle. Dumbfire missile will not fire if your aiming recticule is out of the circle, and the lock on missiles will not lock on if you don't keep the target in the circle for the whole locking proccess. Wainamoinen
Your target also needs to be within range of your missile. You can check the missile's range - it's a good idea to know how far out of yourt range a potential target is - within game your targeting crosshairs will turn red when it's within range. Zardac_the_Great
It is much easier to use them if you get the component that lowers the lock on time.
