DarthMaulUK
1.4 saw the arrival of a broken Force Shroud and Overload. Many patches later, including 2.0 and 2.5, it STILL remains unfixed. Do I need to ask Santa to get this fixed for Christmas? BUG - Despite being popped - players STILL get stunned/rooted instantly - mostly on Huttball BUG - Overload - Upon activating, players are not knocked back and continue moving. And no, the player has no resistance popped during the time it happens. This occurs on most maps. Overload used to knock any old joe back, no matter what direction you were facing. kmzh
Force Shroud/Resilience fix would indeed be great. Overload was changed a long time ago though to be a conal instead of a 360.
Bstr
All Force/Tech attacks still have a 5% chance of landing, no matter what the stats are (even with a 100% resistance.) A dev pointed this out a few months ago. That is one of the reasons why Shadows are so squishy. Working as intended.

A dev pointed this out a few months ago. That is one of the reasons why Shadows are so squishy. Working as intended. Which is incorrect. Force Shroud resists 100%.....You can't get better than 100%. And, it only appears never to work in Huttball.
Bstr
Source of where Force Shroud has an automatic 5% fail chance due to Tech / Force moves have 5% chance to always hit: Shadow Top 3 Answers: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=684656 (Part of question 1) Shadow Top 3 Questions: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=679999 (Question 1 and bonus issues) Also, any Force or Tech accuracy above 100% increases this chance to get hit: 110% accuracy that most people have gives a 10% chance to be hit. Force Shroud just increase the chance to dodge (resist) Force / Tech moves. This is the reason why you are seeing it more in PvP. Finally, for Overload, are you sure that their Resolve isn't maxed? If it is, no knockbacks or stuns will work. Edited December 11, 2013 by Bstr

If it is, no knockbacks or stuns will work. All I see there is an excuse for an ability not working. There is NOTHING on the the tool tip stating it has a 5% fail. If that was the case - what changed in 1.4? It was working before hand but then suddenly stopped. 100% is the max. So if it said 95% of the time, then you can accept it. But it clearly states 100%. As for Overload - nope. Even on 1v1, no resolve etc - knockball will fail. Happens all too often
