Any reason you guys wait almost 60 seconds for that last phase? I'm pretty sure at this point and with gear your raid can DPS/heal through it no problem >_<.

We are running this fight 8 dps, so our GM is convinced we need to wait for Inspiration to do this -.-

Im looking at Vexena's raptus log and noticed something. Does the actual torparse raptus log start once you get ported inside the floating arena?

8 DPS, 3 tanks..(?), 5 healers? Or haven't been doing a full 16 run lately :(? We lost like 2 people recently too due to boredom and school

This is not true Paowee. First aoe hits raid still in a room. You can also see in my parse 2 posts above a ~20 seconds dps gap at beginning, thats the transformation

 

Oh ok. Is that a general raid wide AoE damage? lol.. Never paid attention to it. It just feels for that fight, getting hit by anything from that guy is either that huge knockback or one of those lightning AoEs that he does. Forgot about his constant raid wide AoE pulse. I think that is the "Force Wave" that can be found in the logs. Checked yours and other parses as well and there's always a ~14k force wave at the beginning. Ok thanks! Just checking the logs whenever a new high parse comes up :p

hey thanks for the parse but for now we're only taking 8-man parses from under represented DPS classes. It is a known fact that operative / scoundrel (DF/lethality) is top DPS so :):o

Dear Hatstandard,

 

Torparse is all about numbers and allowing players to compare with other competetive raiders. There are certain fights that have numerous adds, and ultimately benefit from more aoe based classes and specs. If you had an experience in this ops with a parser you would realize that. I post parses that are realistic to me and my guild. I am going to assume you are a casual player if you think high parses are unrealistic (especially in 8 man). The point of this thread is to post as high of numbers as possible, so I am at a loss as to why you would criticize torparse. Adds are meant to die in fights, if you are an effective dps you will be killing them as fast as possible. If you ever have a constructive comment regarding torparse I would kindly direct you to send an email to feedback@torparse.com. If you have a problem with adds dying in operations, I would advise you to stop raiding until adds are removed from the game. If you ever decide to use torparse, please let me know how the weather is down there.

So basically

torpase is a place where people get together and put ******/unrealistic parses of them putting loads of AOE on adds

 

Okay

 

1) you could have quoted any post in this thread and accused the player of parsing in unrealistic conditions. Of all the players you quoted, you quoted C-Tor, who is currently in the top 5 torparse records for every single fight in 16man HM dread fortress. Of all the people who participated, why accuse the guy who consistently dominates of having an unrealistic parse?

 

2) These are live dps parses. By definition this is what a training dummy approximates, and by definition these parses are conducted in realistic conditions. You might as well accuse your country's ranking politician of not living up to the parodies that play on your local TV.

No worries, I just realized how high it was and got excited. Haha. Wish there was an 8 man version of this though. (Unless I missed it somewhere.)

Not to mention depending on how your raid does certain fights you can have higher or lower DPS. CZero and Grob'thok are good examples. We tried (once) LOSing the mobs that spawn so that they run to a corner and get clumped up for AoE. That is a good way to increase Orbital/Flyby/AoE DPS.

 

For Grob'thok our tanks solo and play around with the adds by running them through the lava trail or in front Grob'thok's scream so super high DPS parses is impossible for our DPS to do in that fight. When I tank (pug) i personally tell people to not DPS the adds because i prefer to bring them down using mechanics (just for fun). :p
