You're barely better than most, and if the US goes down, you're likely going to be put in a place that's barely any better than the UK..... And you have less players, so these other countries are always going to be more important. Unfair, but makes sense. Actually if the US Dollar goes down the Every Countries economy goes down, after World War 2 the USA spent considerable time and effort to binding every currency the could to the Dollar. One of the side effects is that if the Dollar does badly it's nearly impossible for most economies to do well either, and since the greater integration on financial markets it appears that other currencies are now affecting the Dollar equally, which complicates things. But even currencies like China's wouldn't survive for long if the Dollar sinks. Still, no worries as the aussies like to say.
