When I arrived there I just saw "requires champion standing" so I have to spend a lot of Euros again to get the required reputation? What I see is: it is cheaper to spend 20 Euros and buy Credits to buy the stuff from the auction-house than actually spending money in the cartel market and get the stuff legal. Intent was to give those people who spend ALOT more than 20 Euros (by factors of 10 MORE) and not gotten some of the most RARE items available to have a chance to purchase for a SINGLE character. Example someone purchases roughly 5 Hypercrates for chance at getting a varactyl speeder. Never does get one. But was able to get Legend. Now that person could take the roughly 30 cartel certificates and legend status and choose WHICH toon gets to purchase sad mount (if it was actually on). Or a full Mira's set, or other rare items (revans mask). THAT is the intent of the rep vendors. I purchased 5 hypercrates worth of packs in one day (let alone how much i've spent over the year). THOSE are the types of people who want the reputation vendors and the high end items on there. If people spend $20 here or there, maybe by a hypercrate worth of packs, who cares. It maybe money to you and maybe significant to you, but for the most part compared to the HIGH end spender they are small. You would be just as well to puy packs, and sell then open them. As I said, the reputation vendors are there for people who may spend $500+ a year on this game and want a sarlac pit, or a carbonite chamber, or a revan mask, etc. They were meant to be special somethings for those who spend LOTS of money kind of a special "thank you" If you WANT something off there, spend money on the packs earn your reputation and move on. Otherwise whats the point of having reputation vendor at all if people can buy few dozen packs and call it good (especially with the FREE CC they give us). IF you have sufficient certificates you should have sufficient reputation assuming you are buying the right set of packs. Two different packs, two different reputation points, two different vendors, same certificates. I've accumulated 45 certificates and maxed both reps with roughly 10 hypercrates (two per rep.). Not overly difficult the idea is to get you to spend money yes. If not willing to spend it, don't complain about it. But, don't tell them its not "fair" give that you have only a few certificates and only got a tiny bit of rep.
