A sort of mastermind behind an attack on the good guys? Sounds cool to me. If he were a spirit, he would likely return in the flesh in the second movie, and get defeated in the third one. It's quite a controversial topic, even outside of SW in real Psychology, I guess you can tell how mixed people are by looking at KOTOR 2, that was the main topic of the game, and people either loved it, or hated it.
