gorstram Posted September 2, 2013 Share Posted September 2, 2013 As I posted earlier, I run the 2/22/22 hybrid, and my Mox parses in raids usually have me as #1 or #2 in DPS. You maybe having problems in PvP, but in PvE we're tearing **** up. I finally jumped on the PTR to see what it was going to be like with the changes. Running Mox, trying several rotations, builds, and adrenal pops I've found the following: Hybrid is dead. They Rasputin'd it. (Look up how Rasputin died). Assault- Does not put out sufficient damage to make it viable in HM ops. Tactics- Puts out the most damage of the two DPS trees, but doesn't do as much damage as the current iteration of the 2/22/22 hybrid. Overall findings- VG's total damage output is getting nerfed in order to make its top tier talents worthwhile. While the damage is a nominally lower than the current hybrid situation, it will still be possible to down content with tactics vanguards.
