Dovahkiwi
I haven't really read any expanded books of Star Wars, and I decided I want to start off by reading about the backstory of the Mandalorians. I feel that Mandalorians are a unique element to the franchise and I am a huge Boba Fett fan. So can anyone recommend some books/series of books about Mandalorians or Boba Fett? bamatram
Boba Fett wasn't a mandalorian though the only thing mandalorian about him is his armor.

Darth_Wicked
Not only was he a Mandalorian but he also ended up attaining the title of Mandalore.
psychogobstopper
I would suggest reading the Karen Traviss-penned Republic Commando novels, as those are the novels that have delved into Mandalorian culture the most. You won't be able to easily reconcile that series with The Clone Wars, however, as TCW took the planet Mandalore in a very different direction. The various Jango Fett and Boba Fett comics may offer some information as well, though I haven't read any of them so cannot say for certain. Traviss's novels in the Legacy of the Force series also dealt with Mandalorians, and expanded on some of the lingering plotlines from the RC series.
