DCnet Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 The idea of shimmering armor is more of a 'camouflage' armor set. Far away it would give the appearance of a shimmered or blurred effect although wouldn't hide a character nameplate, causing the wearer to be from a distance, stealthed or see-through. Up close, the design of the 'glass' looking armor can easily be seen. This obviously isn't to give everyone stealth or to be considered as such, since it wouldn't work that way but would be just a visual effect from armor pieces.
