We spend time to get our characters looking just the way we want them, then end up spending half our playing lives with our head hidden. (Or, worse yet, spend Cartel Coins to get the new hairstyles and end up with it hidden.) It would be a bit lame to actually make this a Cartel Market item rather than just an option in your character screen (much like "Hide Head Slot" button), but as long as it gets put in... Lekku is simply overriding the hood, like certain headpieces. It just disappears instead of going down. Artwork does exist. Every piece of armor has a hood down version you can see on wandering NPCs. Even the newest tier 3.0 end-game gear has hood up/down variants.
