I would think so. A marauder parsing that, probably not. But the fact is that Assassins, if I recall correctly, have a nasty <30% damage boost. If nothing else, the ability to use Assassinate. Yeah..my dps definitely jumps up under 30 percent on boss fights due to assassinate...but still! Compared to marauder and snipers, it leaves something to be desired. I wonder if they are ever going to fix assassins. If they added a damage stat-buff (surge or crit buff) to our phase-walk, like the tanks get a healing buff, I think we would be more likely to be taken along on elite content runs. His dots and Death field do 15% more damage under 30% and he can use Assassinate. I think it should be fine for NiM if your other dps are strong.
