Is the "no research available" thing a bug or a feature?

 

I can craft blue prototype nano-infused stims, but they say they "No research available" even though I haven't learned the resuable versions of them. Is this a bug? Can I still learn the resuable schematic?

The two times where I see this are:

 

where I had not noticed that I had learned it

 

It was not made by me (e.g. GTN purchase)

 

You can r/e but no chance of learning.

The Devs posted a year ago or so that new Biochem recipes won't be able to create re-usable stims or medpacs. This was during the time Biochem was king and the re-useable stims caused a lot of fuss.

 

No more re-usables for Biochem.

That's not true, there are re-usables for biochems still.

I have made new resuseable stims. A guildie has made reuseable medpacks.

 

They are there.
