JekRendar
Anyone else been crashing to desktop after the game starts from the launcher? Sometimes I'll have to reload several times before it "sticks". I hope I'm not the only one.
JekRendar
The last three times I've launched the game, I'd had to launch: 1. 2 times 2. 4 times 3. 5 times I am concerned that's increasing incrementally.
Cypherz
I can't even get the launcher to update. Doesn't seem like they care enough to bother fixing it any time soon either.
JekRendar
Well, having played many MMOs over the past 10+ years, I can tell you that when a new expansion is coming out, bug fixes tend to take a back seat (even though, time and again, Devs will insist they don't). Ragglemuffin
This may help others as it helped a fellow guildy who had the same problems. If you changed the compatibility mode of SWTOR back in patch 1.4 I think then this could be the cause. Previously we were advised to run the game in XP Service Pack 3, this no longer seems to be the case (for windows 7 peeps especially). To take it off right click on the SWTOR shortcut on your desktop, click on properties and then compatibility. There is a section that says (if ticked) that the game will run is a specified version of windows. If it is ticked, un-tick it and then click apply. Try running the game again. Fingers crossed. Rags.
