Zenphose
I bought armor from the cartel, note the character I was on was level 6, and I put it on and noticed it replace my armor which is better. Does it mean I should take it off to want to legitimately play with good armor? Or do I modify it or something? This is getting me confused. Tatile
You'd need to pop some armourings, mods and enhancements into the Cartel armour before it's "good". They all come as empty shells
MelodicSixNine
They all come as empty shells I didn't buy that much stuff from cartel, but some of the items have mods in them if I recall correctly.
Tatile
I didn't buy that much stuff from cartel, but some of the items have mods in them if I recall correctly. Really? I buy all mine off the GTN, so I've never noticed. Edit: Oh, yeah, weapons come with a level 1 crystal. Edited January 15, 2013 by Tatile
Zenphose
Thanks, but what level should I start getting my mods at? As soon as possible?
Tatile
Get ones which are applicable to your level - you can get them for planetary commendations from a vendor or off the GTN. I'd say get them if there's a particular look you want to keep. Just make sure to get the right ones for your class and spec.
