oPURT
Why did you not have more servers right at the start? Because.
Baizak
it is easier to start them up slowly and let them populate, than to open up to many and have to shut them down and migrate. It is just smart business.

Delolith
having a 30minute queue at 8am on a weekday is brutal can only imagine how bad it will be tonight. Cause even more server wouldn't solve the problem. It is human stupidity/behavior. It is not their fault. Half servers are maxed and half servers are light...don't you see what's going on? gatestone
do you not notice the 30+ servers that are light? yeah...we need more servers... no number of servers is going to help the situation only the players can
HanoverFist
To many servers is just as bad as not enough , its a tightrope walk for any Developer when dealing with millions of potential subscribers.
EpothosII
Too many servers could spread the population too thin making all the servers feel empty. The best way to do it, for long term reasons, is to fire them up slowly as they get more demand. It is hard to tell how many players you are really going to have until it comes right down to launch and the weeks following.

Since this is clearly your first MMO launch, I'll give you a couple hints. First, this is launch day. This is what happens when an MMO launches. Everyone tries to log in at once. Secondly, this will die down. People can't take work off forever. People are excited and want to log in all at once. Chill out.
