Hello all, I've just resubbed to the game after a very longtime out, I've paid up as I want to start from scratch without having to delete any higher lvl toons. I was wondering if you could help me out as I'm thinking about going Jedi sentinel

1) Male or female best animations/storylines

2) Is it still dual wield or can they use a single sabre at higher levels

3) PvP or PvE server, on my last sub u didnt start seeing other players till like lvl27?>tatooine was it and pets ruined any 1 on 1 in the world anyway.

4) Dmg rotation + best build for starting out :)

5) Knight or Sentinel for PvP?

I have a lvl11 female sentinel but I cant remeber much about it!

Many thanks for any helpful feedback, I have tried tinternet for this stuff but most of it goes back to launch and I assume alots changed since then :)

1: real life gender.

If you want to look at wemon there are plenty of free xxx site's.

2: sentinal is dual wield, gaurdian is single.

3: Depends, you wont actively be able hunt people until you reach tatooine even then it requires alot of luck.

4:Whatever come's naturaly.

5: see point 4.

Wow, just... wow.

Pick Watchman for "easy" early-game combat. You get Overload Saber at 11 skill points (lv 20 if you spec correctly), which will allow the tree to function pretty well. Combat doesn't really start to kick in until 30, and Focus even later.

Haha ta. I sort of like the sentinel playstyle but I think one handed sabre might have best visualisations? I assume it's knight who get the two handed job if there is one :p ?

Unfortunately I don't utilise pornographic websites and feel quite strongly against it, if it was about that id prefer staring at a femine backside than some funny looking blokes for 55 levels :D

I think you're confusing Knight with the Guardian advanced class. Both Sentinel and Guardian start out as Knights. The Guardian is the single saber advanced class, Sent is the duel wielding one.

From the sounds of it I think you would be happiest playing a Vigilance speced Guardian. That's the in-your-face, 1 vs 1, constant pressure, DPS spec for the single saber class (Guardian). Focus is good to with it's aoe burst skill, and it's 'all that's out' right now, but I find Vigilance more fun and exciting to play.

Male gender because of Kira, /end of discussion. lol

Body 2. Body 3 will look cool and you'll think it works but you'll regret it later. Body three really only fits the Juggernaut AC, it doesn't look good on a Jedi. Just my personal preference of course.

PVP server if you enjoy pvping, have thick skin and don't mind getting jumped by 50's now and again. It happens but then once you get to 50 you can help your faction by being an enforcer on lowbie planets. :D

The two advance class choices a Jedi Knight gets is Jedi Sentinel and Jedi Guardian. :) Guardian is the one that wields only one saber yes (however, a Jedi Shadow - the other advance class of a Jedi Consular wiels a double-bladed lightsaber), but I wouldn't pick the class solely based on this difference, as there are other things to consider. A Guardian can handle the tank-role as well as deal good damage, whereas a Sentinel is purely a dps-class - all their three skill trees are for damage.

A Guardian has two dps-trees beside the tank tree:

-Vigilance does high single-target damage and has some great pvp-perks as well.

-Focus doesn't have anything good for strictly pvp-use, but does have amazing AoE-damage that works in both environments.

A Sentinel's trees work as such:

-Watchman does high single-target damage through DoT's (Damage over Time) and also provides minor self-healing (and some even more minor group-helas).

-Combat does perhaps the best single-target damge in the game through very fast bursts of melee damage. Combat also has some amazing pvp-perks that work really well to the benefit of the team.

-Focus is obviously the same as on a Guardian, though there are minor differences between individual skill points.

As I said earlier, a Watchman-specced Sentinel starts to "fulfill the spec" rather early (20-something), while the others from both Guardian and Sentinel won't be anything special until about lv30 or later.

Had a great time on my new found friend tonight, though I'm wandering what are guards like in PvP? I'm goig to play him anyway as I cant get away with those horrible dual wieldy sabres!
