hybrid build

hi everyone,

 

I just created a Jedi Knight Sentinel and I was wondering if anyone has a build I should go by in order to have a hybrid of PvE and PvP for 1.6 since I enjoy doing both. (I was able to find one for my Inquisitor Assassin)

I've found that going up the combat tree give you a reasonably good balance between PVP and PVE.

That is not the best build I've seen. Drop jedi crusader, you really shouldn't have any focus problems. Pick Valor, it is a must, seriously. Higher force sweep dmg, I don't know, you are not going to aoe much as combat and you won't use it as a filler either.

If you want more pvp oriented drop insight and pick one point stagger and two points displacement (this works in pve too).

 

Also, accuracy talent is really great. More passive accuracy => you can afford more surge rating => more dmg.

Before respecc'ing became free to subscribers I would this for PvE and PvP. You don't need to get Insight, because the only Force ability you will be using is Blade Storm. With Combat Trance and Immaculate Force your Blade Storm has a 100% crit chance. You shouldn't be using Blade Storm unless Combat Trance is up.

 

I can't tell you how great it is to have Displacement in WZs. I would recommend specc'ing like this:

Yeah, I was running this one when I've wanted pvp/pve neutral build. However for pve insight helps with your cauterize dot dmg (yes, you should be using this), proc dmg relic and sometimes you will fire bladestorm without combat trance up, cause it will fell off milisecond before BS hits, it happens.
