Riggz Posted November 26, 2012 Share Posted November 26, 2012 (edited) Hello I have a sent I'm leveling and I think I want to use this build http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#501bcZGG0RRrbdGzZG.2 One aspect I'm undecided on is deciding between Defensive Roll and Jedi Crusader. Having a 30% aoe reduction seems huge but so does gaining one focus essentially every three seconds for a thirty second period Is this a good build for PvP? Also I'm new to this class so any pieces of advice would be greatly appreciated or any links for good video guides I really appreciate everyone who helps me out with this p.s What stats should I be stacking? BlznSmri Posted November 26, 2012 Share Posted November 26, 2012 In my experience Jedi Crusader isn't worth it because as Combat in PvP you're not really going to be focus starved. Dodge Roll is amazing for sure though (Lol smashers won't really do much to you, comparatively). I'd use this build http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#501bcZhrrRRrrdGzZM.2 because it picks up all the roots, which is competely necessary for a Melee class trying to stay on target. I guess all it took was for me to see someone elses build to realize how amazing all those roots will be. Thanks for the help i really appreciate it! Insight increases your force crit, and you only have one attack in your rotation that is force (Blade Storm). That one should be an Autocrit, therefor there is no need to Insight. AngusFTW Posted November 27, 2012 Share Posted November 27, 2012 Yea defensive roll is a must atm with all the lawl smash players running around if you spec into that you will make there sweeps that hit for 6k without hit for like 4.2k then maybe even 2.9-3k if rebuke is up.
