tatatan Posted November 19, 2012 Share Posted November 19, 2012 Old idea like from old Quake arenas. 2 strongholds, each having crate of spice, that need to be secured and dragged to the opposing site. Mechanics are already here, just change ball image for 'crate'. 2 separate ways to each stronghold, (one tunnel, one jumpable path?) meeting in mid section. Mix in Quesh like hazards with leaking gas, add some jumpoints from Huttball arena. Make some small cover story behind it. Suggesting lots tactics and cooperation for opposing teams (striking force, guarding force ...) snipers guarding tunnel? Stealth stealthing through tunnel? Mid area guarded by Leaping 'smashtroll'? Suoirtsulli Posted November 19, 2012 Share Posted November 19, 2012 Sounds like capture the flag, which I hate in fps however I think game mechanics here allow for a lot of varied strategies. Sounds good to me baring in mind we currently have to territorial based game types, a kill fest in void star and hutt ball which is just odd.
