  1. Hi there Thanks again for all kind advices. All valid points to be taken in consideration. As i remember correctly, back in the day i started to play (from when game started), i didn't have this kind of problem, i'd say almost contrary, as i remember i had to kill some mobs on planets just to level up and i've been doing all quests, flashpoints and heroics i could imagine .. I think the problem is that 25% boost - really, without it, i think, i'd be OK. Unsubscribing might be good idea, alas, i paid half year sub, LOL. I'm gonna delete this over-leveled character and start again and if it won't work - well ... i thrown my $$ out of window .. not 1st time in my life cheers!
  2. Thanks for quick answer, most appreciated! Even though, stop leveling would be altogether preferable .. doing couple heroics, few pvp arenas and risk / reward at planets is almost ridiculed
  3. ... while doing story quests, planetary quests or simply killing NPCs? Hi, as per above question, i feel i need to explain farther. I did not play for 2 years, i started new Character, but my problem is, i'm leveling too fast to enjoy risk <-> reward scenarios. I'm operative at Dromund Kaas,currently, have level 17 and i just barely landed at the planet. I can do all quests (heroics) solo. I'm even skipping most random combat by sneaking around, but no way - i level too fast just from doing quests. It's at the point where the game stops being interesting ..ehh Thanks for any advice
  4. Hi, Juggs are fine. I leveled from 50->55 as immortal or vengeance and had zero troubles. Strangely, before 2.0 i was used to play immortal / rage (usually rage for soloing, doing dailies etc. - but not exclusively, ran Flashpoints too). After 2.0 for some reason, Rage felt awkward to me, not sure why, i just couldnt get proper rotations in time, didnt feel 'OK' to me. So i switched to vengeance and it hit home. Vengeance feels much better for me compared to rage. I dont have to think about rotations etc, feels 'natural' and i'm happy. Btw. Immortal + Vette or HK 51 is blast too. cheers,
  5. generally - you're support class, so you're not good in 1x1 scenarios, even though, you can hold your own until someone else arrives to help finish opponent off - you best thrives when you're paired with healer, then you can hold off even 3 or 4 opponents for some time, always put guard on healer and follow him around, if the healer is good, he'll heal you - if no healer in team, tank is not shiny, yet still can do the job - put guard on best DPS in team, but expect, you'll die a lot, as you're beaten and your guarded target is beaten too spec usage: - selfheal is amazing when paired with 'endure pain', so alway press endure pain first, then enraged defense - your selfheal will be much stronger, because it is counted of off your current max HP pool (which is increased by endure pain) - dont save your defensive cooldowns untill yo're almost dead, then it wont help you - use your e.g. 'invincible' when you have at least 2/3 or 1/2 health, then it's just wasted (unless you have healer ready to refill your HP) - religiously use taunt when it's off cooldown and area taunt too - this is one of your best annoying specs - guard your healer with above said taunts, stuns, intercede, force push - use cybertech to craft some level 1 earthquake grenades, they're cheap and buy you couple of seconds too - use crushing blow and retaliation whenever you can, as it raise up your defenses .. If you pop your defensive cooldowns + selfheal + use force push, charge, intercede, your're mobile and you can hold even on your own 20 seconds against many, which is a lot. have fun

  7. @ Pagy: mob aggro was already fixed some time ago (at least they said it did, i didnt test it) @ OP: My opinion on using this as a healer is, it is waste of 2 points. My job as a healer is to heal up my team and not sneak around trying to sleep dart people. It could be only usable for some heal / concelament or heal / lethality hybrids .. as it could be useful to kill node guard and cap.
  8. Healing is FINE. I have to really laugh, how heaps of baddies DPS complain in this QQ cry rivers thread. I play Operative and i switch between DPS na healing in PUGs as i see fit. I can be killed by single good DPS when healing. It is possible, it just has to be good player and i have to have some of my specs on cooldown (stimboost, CC breaker, have DoTs on me for someone else, get caught in AoE ...) it is situational. I can also kill healer, if i do it smart if i play DPS spec. It all boils down to the thing, that i actually play DPS and healer, so i know how it works. As for 4 healers in team? I dont like it. On contrary, e.g in AHG we faced team with 4 healers, we had only one and we rolled them flat. We had some smashers on our team and good players. You cant outheal burst dmg on one guy, just take 4 smashers and let them jump train in bunch of players, then try to outheal it .. you wont. It is all about if players are good or not.

  10. @Gondolindhrim: i simply dont use EP in PvE boss fights, it's not worth it for me (energy hog). EP is only PvP burst for me, otherwise, instead of EP i always use Cull. The same with Orbital strike - i use it only for trash mob bombing, in boss fight only if he spawn adds - not worth for me for regular rotation either.
  11. I'm doing it same. EP is not in my 'regular' rotation (if i can talk about any rotation in PvP where thanks to stuns you often kiss good bye your preciously hoarded TA stack..) But, where i *always* use EP is when opponent has blown his CC breaker and i can use Flashbang grenade. FB + EP 4 the win! Basically, if i manage in 1x1 scenario FB someone, than i have real advantage. FB + EP + heal myself (gaining TA) -+ Shiv => Cull - Cull - Stimboost - Cull Very deadly combination. I love it now, when they finally fixed our DoTs not breaking our stuns ... cheers,
  12. Pvp heals is fine, move along. Question is - are you supposed to kill healer 1x1? No, you shouldn't. Whole thread is fail. And if you cant kill healer 2x1, you're fail too.

  14. Sorry to say so, but your post only show, you have no clue. After 2.0 Lethality is simply better than Concealment, including burst. Fluff dmg? Corrosive grenade and dart combined does around 10k dmg. Especially usefull in Voidstar, where my DoTs send whole team to respawn point and healer cant do nothing about it, if just one guy focus him. Whole team just die. I can chain 3 or 4 Culls (4 Culls if Fatality triggers + stim boost) + shiv -> 5th Cull. I say this is simply better burst, than Concealment off now. Have you tried Flashbang+Expl. probe + Cull? 10k dmg possible. It is about time to rewrite Ops book about who has better burst damage. More control and utility? Are you serious - it is completely same - or enlighten me and tell me where Concealment has more utility x Lethality or more control??

  16. Ok, i read some on this subject and decided to go with 30% crit chance. I want to keep it at 30%+ because i play Lethality or Medic. I dont play Concealment. And both - Leth. and Medic use lots Dots and i want them crit as much as possible. Currently i have 31% crith chance + 12% from Lethality talent = 42% crit chance on dots. Crit also count up with Cull. So for me, i'm not gonna stack power like crazy, i'll with Cunning - just like the old days Also, thanks to legacy, i have all 4 buffs available (sorc buff) so .. sidenote: Today at HM FP Hammerstation, when fighting the first boss - the one that has 2 adds, i noted, that my cull dmg (and dots) were quite low. Cull (one tick of Cull) was like 600, but if it critted, i went to over 2000. This seams to me the NPC have some kind of shield mechanics and crits surpass it and go 'through' it. This just also support my idea of having Crit chance at reasonable level. Anyone else has similar experience?
  17. Hi, after 2.0 i looked on the Concealment tree and i thought 'wow it gotten no love'. I bothered to try it once on twice and left it, where i left it before .. in dust. On contrary, Lethality got lots of love (which i like, as i played Leth. from game start). So, nowadays, no change for me i roll Lethality or Medic and respeccing as needed, just like i did before 2.0 . ..
  18. Hi guys, I'd like to get more light in this matter. Some people say: 'exchange all your critical chance mods with power ones and use only overkill augments. I'm not so sure about this. Does anyone has any data / info on this? I still think, that - our cunning buff talent (+9% cunning) will net us better with skill augments? - critical still matters for us - particularly for me playing Lethality or Medic (not sure about Concealment gyus) question is, how much critical to get? Atm, i have 30% critical chance fully buffed. Anyone has higher? What is your opinion on this?
  19. PVP: hard to talk about some exact rotation. It is situational. tips: - in big brawl apply dots from distance, corrosive grenade and frag grenade deal good aoe dmg - if you fight someone use Flashbang in midfight to reapply dots + put expl. probe on adversary during the fight - everything revolves around Shiv, so if you 'dive in' to melle range, use shiv immediately as it goes off cooldown e.g. in big brawl, after applying DoTs to everyone, i pick their healer and: shiv (+TA) -> debilitate -> Explosive probe -> Shiv (+TA) -> 2x Cull -> Shiv -> 1x Cull -> Flash bang -> Expl. probe -> reapply dots -> Shiv -> Cull Voidstar - offensive - i get dots going on everyone i can, to put stress on their healers Voidstar - defensive - i respec to heals Novarre - same stuff, poison everyone, then pick target, dive in, get out fast, keep repoisoning Huttball - respec to heals, as Lethality, i dont feel much usefull (and my dots breaking others CC) and my TTK is too low to have much impact Hypergate - i either guard offnode, or same strategy in mid (spread poison, pick on target, Cull him) or if no heals, i respec to heals Alderaan - guarding off node, or again poisoning everyone and picking targets ..
  20. Ok, here goes the story: Sub 55 WZ, Hypergate, pretty much even match, we held the mid, when like 15 - 20 sec before end of round 2 some REP cap our Pylon. Our whole team left mid (5 or 6 ppl), ran to the Pylon to kill that one poor REP hero. They left me at mid to get processed by atomic megablast of Rep team (focus fire) and all of them heroically evaporated in the hypergate discharge. I still dont understand it, if it was some kind of harakiri, or suicidal team streak ... I had to leave the WZ immediately, because my brain almost fried trying to grasp the whole thing

Ok, after playing intesively my Lethality OPS, this is my template now: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#401MczZuZGrbkbMRRMsuR.3 6 / 4 / 36 I found out that the 1 point spent in 'Medical consult' in Medic tree (prolonging TA stack hold by 2 seconds) is crucial for my rotations. It enables me comfortably squeeze in backstabs and reapplying dots, or explosive probe. Without it, my rotation is too tight and, vulnerable to any delays (knockbacks, stuns etc). It is now my 'honed' up Lethality setup. I use it in PvP and PvE (in PvP i only take out 2 points from alacrity and put then to 'adhesive corrosives').
  23. Hi, well, i'm not sure about hybrids. It's not my 'cup of tea' to play hybrid. Hybrid doesnt have specific role, so need to constantly alternate between healing and dmg dealing all the time. I think the difference between above posted setups is hard to say - as it relies entirely on player. Thing is player need to be comfortable with it, it has to suit his play. Imho, both setups are OK - only the first one template - there you miss the healing energy decrease trait, which is crucial - without it, your healing support is very bad.
  24. Hi, as is see tons of Assassins crying rivers about Operative (said OP) roll, i propose to even those abilities and *BOOST* up assassin force speed! No nerf, just boost! 1.remove it's cooldown 2. limit it to 10 meters (i know Ops have 12, but Assassin regenerate energy (force) much better, so he can spam it faster 3. make it cost XX force 4. make it vulnerable to roots, slows, stuns (remove all abilities that could make it immune to it) 5. when slowed make the force speeding player run only half instance - 5 meters! I call this huge boost to Sassin force speed ability - just like we Operatives have now. And it would surely remove all complaints the Sassins have now about us. what say? i'd like our brothers assasins git some boost up!! Bioware? Help them, they need it, they need some love!!
  25. Hi guys, just one question - do you go with PvE or PvP gear? Since all my EWH gear went bye bye (no expertise) and i still dont have complete PvP set, i go with PvE gear. In PvE gear i have 1.6k expertise and 3k cunning. If i equip my PvP gear (missing still 5 pieces from PvP gear) i'll get to 1650 expertise. So i figgured to go in PvE gear untill i got all my PvP gear on me. What is your experience? thank you
