Dooku was more than capable of being a Council member, but he turned it down because he wanted to be more proactive. Heck, he was practically begged to be a Council member. Heck, he was practically begged to be a Council member. I think he is better than Windu in many ways and could be the best Jedi Consular in the prequel era. This is actually an interesting point. Dooku is a smart man and skilled duelist. Mace Windu is one of the greatest duelists ever. Dooku is wise, Windu is wise. OldVengeance Posted November 11, 2012 Share Posted November 11, 2012 Dooku was twice as old as Mace and so more experienced, but I think Mace had to be more skilled.
