JWagner
Does anyone know how Mandalorian Clans are structured/ranked? I am working on a Mandalorian-based clan, but can find no reference to how the clans themselves are actually structured.

Scathe
It goes from clan to clan. There is normally a Alor (Chief) and a second in command. But for the most part it up to each clan This. A Mando'ad clan usually has a leader which is the Aliit'alor, or Head of the Family/Family Chief, and a second for when the Aliit'alor is not around to lead or rally the clan. With this exception, the clans are usually pretty free-form, each member does something that contributes to the clan or to the people, but no one person is greater than the others. Even the Aliit'alor works to benefit the clan in a labor position, operating as both overseer for the clan's duties and as a provider.
Ninquelen
To quote Wookiepedia: Mandalorian society was a classical meritocracy, where rank and status meant nothing in comparison to a being's actions and achievements. Mandalorian clans were led by chieftains—usually senior members of the clans chosen for their wisdom—and the loose affiliation and cooperation between them was the closest the Mandalorians had to a standard government; the clans and their chieftains were all subordinate to the Mand'alor, the one individual recognized as sole ruler of the Mandalorians and the nearest Mandalorian parallel for a proper head-of-state. The back story is no longer strong with this one, but I've always thought that (apart from Mand'alor and clan chieftains) the Mandalorians didn't actually have any sort of formal structure. Iwih
They don't A lot of people tend to get them confused with the Mandaloiran war era one's. Where they did have a proper Military. But normally they are more like a nomadic warrior society then a military. Witch is probably the main reason they don't control large sectors of the Galaxy
