Hi all!

thru the talent can make rail shot 115% apr, but how this work correctly

1) 35% HVGC + 20% heat sign + 30% adv. tag + 30% sup heated rail =115% will do more damage if target have more armor or this will no go bellow 0 armor

2) 20% heat sign and then we have decreased armor and then will 95% apr for rail shot so armor will never go bellow 0?

some build like this http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/bounty_hunter/mercenary/#::f21e2fe5fe3fefefe5f4e2f3e2f5e:

P.S. sorry for my English please

Can't recall if armour pen stacked or multiplied but it doesn't matter.

That build is sacrificing HSM and Power Overrides to buff Railshot which you can only use every 15 seconds at best.

You've lost your hardest hitting ability to gain a fraction more damage on another.

armor penetration stacks and ignores X% of the armor bases damage reduction that a target has at that time.. heat signaturest cause an armor rating debuff and are not 'NOT' armor penetration. they merly reduce the current armorrating by 20%.

so how does that work. lets say the enemy has 4500 armorrating (30% damage reduction) it would decrease that to 3600 (25% damage reduction) .

armor penetration is calculated afterwars. so without the armor debuff the 95% AP (35%+30%+30%) would reduce the damage reduction from 30% to 1.5% and with heatsignatures from 25% to 1.25%.

hope that helped
