JediAAK Posted October 5, 2012 Share Posted October 5, 2012 (edited) OLD REPUBLIC ALLIANCE (a republic PvE oriented guild) Short Introduction: Old Republic Alliance was formed over 5 years ago by a group of friends seeking to make a Guild that was dedicated to making Star Wars Galaxies fun, but compete as one of the best PvE guilds on our chosen server. We have guys dedicated to RP/PvP/PvE. We love multiclass (alts) and this is our main reason why we are small - we like to farm FPs and Ops with different classes and gear them all up. Our History: A long long time ago in SWG, after leaving a RP guild 7 or 8 of us got together and decided we wanted to continue playing as friends. We agreed that we wanted to play on equal terms without anyone being the leader and to have no rules except being respectfull to each other. One of us started the guild and would be leader in name only because game mechanics required that. We started organising our own group/raid runs without major rules granting each other loot when needed. Soon enough we grew into a guild of significant size. Sometimes someone would switch to play another game, but we always kept in touch. Whenever we have enough players online or when we have something planned, we'll start and form raids/groups to do something together to get all our characters or new players geared or just to have fun. We have many players that like to study stats, craft and get invalved in RP or PVP, so something for everyone. We also have some excellent tacticians, players that are good at figuring things out. We pride ourselves on being the first guild in SWG (Chimeara) to complete Echo Base and later to 6 man it. We do everything we can to try figure out instances and raids and have a core bunch of players that make up these teams. We do this to help new players walk into instances and have the most success possible without the need for failure. Our Activities: Guild Ops Progress Page We have been 1-2 members short for the past couple weeks, that's holding us from progressing with the current end-game content. We are a very small community and rely on regular participation from almost everybody. This gives us a chance to be able all to enjoy Ops without anybody being left. Also it gives us a great chance to play more than 1 "main" class. We would love to have that gap filled ASAP as we are very eager to get EC HM and after it TFB HM done. Our Usual Ops evenings are: MONDAY / TUESDAY / THURSDAY. Start time is 19 GMT. rpointon Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 I am the Guild Leader of "The Not So Dark Elite" (Republic) and "The Dark Elite" (Imperial) guilds on The Red Eclipse. My guys are mainly only focused on Imperial side but would like to occaisonally do Republic Operations, maybe once or twice a month but we only have 4-5 columi geared players at the moment.
