Mercenary Offers No Unique Desirable Utility - Therefore Needs Utility Buff

The Mercenary class is not quite there yet for pvp balance. Currently, you would prefer to take any other class over a mercenary because other classes offer more unique and versatile utility. The Mercenary class has nothing to offer that is better than other classes and therefore is cause to warrant a utility buff. Developers should be thinking in terms of "I'd rather bring a mercenary to warzones instead of that class because....(insert unique class abilitys/buffs)". Edited October 4, 2012 by DkSharktooth

Anything that is a fun new ability would be great. I feel as if Devs keep getting thrown off track. We will probably have to wait till the next level up expansion where everyone gets new abilitys to see any sort of positive change. The current changes had a no positive, no negative effect to be honest.

20% armour debuff, that only 2 other classes can apply isnt enough utility? Hell mercs dont even need to alter their rotation to throw it in like snipers.

that takes 3 1.5 second casts to apply while standing still in a battlefield that players constantly move and all susceptible to interrupts, meanwhile doing really bad damage and costs alot of heat?
