Chiricahua
I just got through reading I, Jedi. I want to read a novel at least as good as that.
Aurbere
Thrawn Trilogy and Duology. Those are the best EU books imo.
DarthVitrial
Anything by Timothy Zahn, starting with Heir to the Empire.
Asbiorn
I second anything by Timothy Zahn. I also recommend the Darth Bane Trilogy.
caesaraugust
Nothing after Episode VI (except for the Thrawn Trilogy) because it's all pure garbage. Darth Plagues - Amazing Republic Commando series - Amazing Novelizations of the movies - Amazing The Old Republic novels - Acceptable
CassusVerda
The X-Wing Series and Wraith Squadron is pretty good.
Narien
The Thrawn Saga (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising and The Last Command) are pretty much required reading. The Hand of Thrawn duology (Spectre of the Past and Vision of the Future) are excellent, but not quite as powerful as the original Thrawn Saga. Outbound Flight and Survivor's Quest are very well done as well, and give some excellent insight into the Chiss, in case you rolled a Smurf and were curious about them. In terms of non-Zahn stuff, the X-Wing series by Michael Stackpole and Aaron Alliston (they traded off for a few volumes) is definitive post-ROTJ literature. If you're familiar with Kevin J. Anderson's work his Jedi Academy trilogy is another possibility, though not everyone is a fan of his writing style. Avoid at all costs anything set at or after the Vong war, or anything penned by Karen Traviss. Edited September 28, 2012 by Narien
DarknessInLight
Darth Plagueis Shatterpoint(a nice read if you really want to see a human side to Mace Windu). Any of the Old Republic novels.
Gidrea
X-Wing Series Tatooine Ghost Death Star Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader Labyrinth of Evil Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter Han Solo Trilogy (Paradise Snare, The Hutt Gambit, Rebel Dawn) Dark Forces Trilogy )Soldier for the Empire; Rebel Agent; Jedi Knight) Jedi Apprentice Series (Young Adult) Anything in the New Jedi Order is boring. Anything by Karen Traviss is crap. Everyone loves the Thrawn Trilogy, but I didn't like it. You have to try stuff out, I suppose, to see what you like.
