If it is one of those topics that comes up often, I apologize. I've decided I want to make a Trooper and run him DPS through the Assault Specialist tree. As this is a shared skill tree, I'm not sure which AC will benefit the most. I understand that Commandos have greater range and have to remain stationary and Vanguards have more mobility, I was just wondering which AC skills will benefit a DPS more. Opinions? Several skills are tied to Ion Pulse (10m instant cast) instead of charged bolts. Ion Pulse has shorter range, but anyway with the incoming changes to assault plastique and a couple of other attacks, that's not such a big deal.
