Order-Sixty-Six Posted September 11, 2012 Share Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) If you haven't seen the PTS yet, we are getting a modifiable offhand from PvP vendors in 1.4, this will have 4 slots (Crystal, Armoring, Mod, Enhancement) giving it more power and expertise than the former BiS Black Hole Striker Mk-1 Generator. Okema Posted September 11, 2012 Share Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) Sweetie-Bell, I haven't looked at the new gear for too long, but why don't you just take the Force-Master's Focus and replace the enhancment with he EWH Lightsaber power-enhancment? Or with the War hero enhancment if you are for max power. Also, my head hurts and I don't wanna do the math right now, but won't the new PvE Focus still be the better choice, granted they would need some swapping around, which requires a lot of cba-PvE, but still? Can't believe how well they played on these new gear.. The carrot on the stick is huger than I expected.. In theory this is what's best to do in order to save time in the long run. But (for me) it would require purchasing another war hero focus (force master) and reacquiring the ranked comms before 1.4 is launched. I'm at 3k ranked comms currently and doubt I can get another 4k ranked comms before 1.4 is launched. I don't want to be at a disadvantage when 1.4 is launched so coping with 61 mod/enh is something I can deal with in the meantime because I have them readily available, at least I'll have the modifiable focus with it's armoring and a +41 crystal. Oh wow maybe I wont have to change then, im 100% sure I got the one with power, I just assumed it was the stalker focus I bought as I barely ever used it once I switched to the black hole focus a few months ago. I'll have to check when I get home and log in. You're probably right here, sorry for the confusion. EDIT: yeap I actually did buy the force master war hero OH, it confused me cause I had a stalker bm focus as well. And I have the Force Mystic WH Mainhand... . and the Elite War Hero version has Alacrity on it so.... screwed there. So much grinding in front of me, haha. I have to say good job BW on this one. can't wait to see how many shadows buy the shield and rip all the mods out and put the stalker mods in it lol. It's not as much that they are adding a new tier of gear as that they are using a broken system and they are....continuing to use it. not much to do about it at this point though.
