Sounds good???

I am sooo unhelpful on this stuff. I was obsessed with upgrading and gameplay experience at one point in my life and I honestly have completely lost track.

Last system I designed was back in 1998 for Wing Commader: Prophecy. That lasted through the last great generation of games -- Thief, System Shock, FreeSpace 2, Europa Universalis, Halflife -- and every other computer has been off the rack since then.

That's a nice system - and should allow you to run the game at max graphics settings with no problems. The only slight boat-anchor will be the HDD. Solid state is the way to go for a gaming rig if you can afford it. Prices are coming down on these, and its something you can always add later though. That said, your rig as-is will run SWTOR perfectly.

I'm running it on max settings with a 4-year old computer!

I like how someone buys a high end gaming machine and then asks all innocently "Will this run swtor?". Come on if you really wanted input you would have asked before you bought it. This is bragging.

Lol - so let him brag! A fast rig's a fast rig.

It's not really bragging when he could of bought the components and pieced it together himself for far cheaper.

Im old school when it comes to mmo's...last time i bought a system was when Everquest was the only real mmo out there. I just wanted a lil feedback and yes..a lil kudos because of the amount i just spent on this system. wasnt trying to cause haters. if you dont like my post..skip it. I played EQOA beta back in 2000 on the PS2. things have really gotten graphics intense since the 1990s.
