SweetOldBob Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 I've beren playing SWTOR since the October beta; been playing on my current rig since February. In the past week or 10 days, SWTOR has been locking up my machine several times a day. By "locking up", I mean that the GUI becomes unresponsive and alt-tab will not get me to Windows, so I end up doing a forced reboot. (I HATE doing that.) Obviously, this could be a problem with my hardware, a driver, or some software misconfiiguration or corruption on my machine. My hunch, however, is that it's a timing problem or race condition on the SWTOR client. I've submitted a raft of bug reports, but I'm curious: is anyone else seeing this? Thanks. turjake Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Get one of them 3d test programs, and make them do the 3d tests on loop and see if your machine can handle that. Sounds like a hw problem.
