Do you absolutely enjoy SWTOR?

The title says all and be honest here.

Do you enjoy the linear approach to this game? Seriously, every world is so disconnected and claustrophobic. The only legitimate planet that doesn't feel boxed in is Hoth.

After you complete you're class story, what else is there to explore? There is really no exploration or no surprises since your class story drags you to every area in each zone. There is really nothing to discover after that.

NPC's are too static, I think Bioware really messed up here. NPC's don't move around, they don't do anything. Everything feels so lifeless. It's so hard to immerse yourself as a roleplayer.

No day or night cycles and no weather. The excuse Bioware gave for this sounds lazy. I don't know how to put it but everytime I go back to a planet it... well it still feels the same and to add to that again nothing to explore. What's the point of me going back to a planet? I can't roleplay long enough to realize I just feel like i'm on a movie set piece.

Social hubs are simply... well boring, you can't even sit on a chair or interact with objects except lore objects in this game. It looks absolutely ridiculous when people are either standing or sitting on the ground when there are empty chairs near by. What is the point of having a huge casino in Nar Shadda if I can't do remotely anything but do one single mission that leads me there then leave after i'm done. Even the old other lame MMO's out there have some sort of better social interactions.

Why is every flashpoint and operations on the fleet? I'm tired of everyone being forced to stand around on the fleet.

Daily quests, where do I even begin to express my dislike for these. They are too repetitive and just plain boring to do. It's like Bioware chose the most lazy thing for us players to do in our spare time once we reach end-game.

On-rails space combat? Need I say more.

PVP fun for awhile then becomes a drag. Remember before you go on some rant, I'm a roleplayer not a pvper.

Now that this game has gone "Free to Play" and half of Bioware's team has been wiped out, I don't think TOR will improve for the longest... Yes the longest. I hate how Bioware keeps trying to spin the negatives of the game into something positive. I didn't know multiple layoffs would help improve the game faster.

Anyways, in my opinion this game just isn't fun anymore. With all the money they made from our subscriptions since this game went live much hasn't changed, well maybe a little but nothing really significant. It's missing the fun factor. Just think, now that this game is going free to play I don't think anything will move out faster if they couldn't do it when alot of us were subbed.

Perhaps not having ambitious expectations for something as trivial as a video game clouds my judgement. Maybe if virtual pwnage was my path to glory and self-esteem I would better understand what all the griefing is about. But it isn't so I don't. Guess I'll just have to answer yes then ... I thoroughly enjoy SWTOR. Edited by GalacticKegger

Before I finally stopped playing I found myself only logging in for about 30 minutes then log off only to find myself becoming bored.

I do remember when this game first went live, I was playing 8 hours a day lol. I think this game still needs alot of work before I can become interested in it again.

OP - the story is still great and many of the basics are there and companions work very well, but equally pretty much all you are saying is also correct, the game needs a LOT of work (at present it doesn't really compare well to say LOTRO, it does beat it in many respects, but in many others needs a lot of work to equal it). Yes I do, I have had tons of fun with this game playing eight storys. It beats those "kill 10 sheep then 490583745 goblins" games anyday

Now I need a ninth characterslot for my next character

This game was not ready for release when they released it to begin with , its like that we are paying them for playing the beta while they are fixing the game and implementing features which should have been in the game from launch.

I like having the game tell me where I need to go.

Of course so do I, but the planets aren't big enough for exploration. That's why speeders are slow in this game cause Bioware trys to make you feel as if the planets are big when they aren't.

Imagine if we had speeders that were as fast as they are in the films. You know how fast you would get across the selected regions on each planet in this game? Slow speeders equals a cover up by Bioware to make you think your traveling in far places. The selected regions in this game need to be more massive.

One of the disappointing things about this game.

I was expecting Coruscant to be so big, I mean, like, really, really big. Like New York City. It was disappointing seeing that the Capital Planet wasn't as big as I thought.

This game really needs to expand a lot of its planets. :(

Faster speeders and flying mounts, limited by map size and corridors. :(
