Minimum spec help!

Hi all,

 

I have a laptop with a broken HDD that im thinknig about replacing if it can play this game. The only spec im not sure about is:

 

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz or better

 

The laptop has a Centrino duo 2.2, so should it be able to play this game?

Computer

 

Your computer should have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better, and an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.0GHz or better.

RAM

 

Your computer's RAM should be as follows: for Windows XP: 1.5GB, and for Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB. For PCs using a built-in graphical chipset, 2GB RAM recommended.

Video

 

Your computer's graphics card should be ATI X1800 or better, nVidia 7800 or better, or Intel 4100 Integrated Graphics or better.

NOTE: Minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM and Shader 3.0 or better support.

DVD-ROM

 

Ensure that your DVD-ROM is 8X or better.

 

From their website. Your processor should be fine.

Thanks, I did read that but it says Core 2 DUO and this laptop only has a Centrino Duo and im not sure what the difference is? (assuming there is one).

Your CPU is a core 2 duo. Centrino is just an Intel marketing thing, meaning you have an Intel CPU, motherboard chipset, and wireless card.
