I've tried tanking with other classes, and it didn't work out, but the Vanguard feels great as a tank. Having problems keeping aggro with large groups spread out all over the place. cshouston Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 (edited) Best tip I can offer you is to unsubscribe and uninstall the game. Other than that? Start with mortar volley on a clustered group, storm in, use harpoon to bring in any distant ranged-type mob, explosive surge twice since they're free now, maybe toss in a third for good measure, pulse cannon, then go to town on your primary target. If for some reason there's *still* a mob out of range, taunt it to bring it in. Any leftovers should be melee types, since any ranged should've been your storm and/or harpoon targets. TrooperCam Posted July 30, 2012 Share Posted July 30, 2012 MV to get the most to agro on you. Harpoon in a loose one. Stun grenade another in. Riot strike another in. Aoe taunt to keep the group on you. Explosvie charge to finish them off. That's for solo'ing stuff. Group tanking is a different story and depends on the level of your group and their experience.
