Advice for a new Mara

Im making a new Marauder myself. Ive found a lot of guides, but they are for Sentinels, which means you have to learn the names of the Sent talents/abilities which is annoying... Anyway, here's what Ive found in my initial class research.

What Im interested in learning is what are good priorities/rotations for PVP. Builds aren't too hard to come by, but its just that I dont know what I should be doing now that Im just starting out.

I'd also be interested in some advice. I'd also like some help especially in the early stages, 10-25. There seems to be an overwhelmingly amount of abilities that get thrown at you. It'd be nice to know if some of these can be ignored.

It seems to me that Maras are lacking until they get past 20 and you get either Deadly Saber or Ataru form and force choke. Until then, Ravage is gonna be the main damage dealer. It also seems that Retaliate and Force Scream aren't worth using at low levels. If you want to Rage, wait later until you can get full points in Dominate and Shockwave. Just my little observations as a new lowbie mara.

My advice: stick with it. It can be depressing PvPing at low levels. People focus you down super fast, and you don't know why. Then you hit 20 and it makes more sense. Then you hit 30, take someone down to half health in 4 shots and all of a sudden it makes sense.

Rotations are hard to learn because abilities come at you fast. You need a LOT of things hot keyed, so learn how to do that. Memorize tootltips and figure out when to use what. For instance, Saber Throw has a heal debuff. Very handy in the right situation, which is true of many of our abilities. Learn them, hot key them, stick with it, and you will love it later
