Tuscad Posted August 31, 2012 Share Posted August 31, 2012 If Revan had used the Foundry to destroy the Sith Empire, that would mean 1) Revan would've fallen back to the dark side again (just as what happened when he ordered the Mass Shadow Generator to be used to exterminate the Mandalorians with the cost of his own troops and Jedi), and 2) EVEN WORSE!! It doesn't take into account the dark side users who don't have Sith ancestry such as Twileks As long as Jedi exist there will always be Sith. Therefore there is only one solution. During the Agent Story line, you become aware of the Star Cabal's plans, to destroy all force sensitives. Giving the galaxy back to normal people. They realise that in order to truly free the galaxy from war and destruction both the Jedi & Sith need to die. For as long as one exists so does the other. The problem with that however is that they never took into kreias account of force sensitives and that it isn't genetic but rather predestined by something far greater and larger. I don't think in this time line they are aware of the microscopic (yeah as if bacteria wasn't small enough) bacteria known as mediclorians or their connection to the force sensitives. As for Reven's plan, it was to destroy the empire by destroying its leadership which is made up largely from sith ancestry. Quite ingenious, but didn't take into account pure-bloods or their ancestors who were jedi. Obviously it was a very dark choice and the jedi and rebublic would of not allowed this.
