Kissakias
I make this test…. I remove all the gear from my char…. I buy 2 same boots without stats. Jawstheshark
Or tooltip does not adjust for power modification Go kick around on the target dummy for 20-30 mins for each Also Aim should always be better than power as I understand it (for classes that have Aim as their primary stat at least)
JMCH
Strangely enough, power affects the "damage bonus" and "healing bonus" entries on my client... perhaps you have some exotic client? Skills tooltips were broken at release, I don't know if they have been 100% fixed, but my limited experience tends to prove they're still off (it shouldn't be possible to heal for 5600 a quick scan considering the tooltip and crit% bonus). Daefaroth
It seems like you're missing something in your test: how much total Aim do you have? The big difference is that Aim adds to damage/healing and Crit, and Power adds slightly more to damage/healing but not Crit. From what I've read, there's a soft cap on Crit where it falls off in translating into damage. I've read it's 1600ish of the main stat and 35%ish crit but I have no solid numbers to go by. The rule of thumb that seems to work well is to use Power Augments in Rakata or better gear, and main stat in lesser gear. Ladido
All the classes should go for Power augments EXCEPT the classes with a 9% insteed of 6% increase in their main stat (like Merc and Sniper)
FuulishOne
Tooltips are broken, that's fairly obvious from what you've posted. You also say you're testing naked which changes your position on the DR curves. As someone else already suggested, use a test dummy.
