It was fun when I went up against enemies that interrupted early enough to make fake casting worthwhile, but against those who interrupted late or just used CCs when they missed, it was just not fun. I'm a noob, still trying to get the hang of PvP, but I usually end up above the median of the WZ tally sheet, and I'm playing for objectives instead of stats or medals.
