My character is only 23 but I wasn't sure about how his shield works, not the usable ability but the one you equip that has the 5% chance 20% absorption. Does this proc when hit? I don't miss WoW 1 bit! lol The shield will have a 5% chance to proc and will absorb 20% of the damage. Once you get into late game and more gear, your % will go up. At the moment I have 51% proc 53% absorb. So it will not stay at the base % of the shield itself. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sookster Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) Ion gas cylinder adds 15% to shield chance for a total of 20%, with gear you can improve that as well as absorption. Same idea as a warrior/shaman's block chance and value with a shield in WoW. I miss my old shaman, stacked block as a restoration healer.
