ReverendAnderson
No words from the Dev about the transfers or 1.3 patch. What do you mean? They've told us transfers are almost out of development and into testing, and they just released a whole movie on what's coming 1.3.
Darthshnooky
What words would you like? We know they're coming, we know the 1.3 PTS will be up in the next couple weeks and transfers will be in or before 1.3. Exactly what more do you want to know? I'm not defending BW or anything, i really am curious what info you think should be released. Oh, and in advance, don't say a date for 1.3 because NO developer releases dates for major updates weeks in advance.

QiwiLisolet
Transfers aren't really going to stop the bleeding. Low server populations are a result of BioWare's decision to develop a MMORPG like it was a single player game - with the same replay value as a single player game. So what you end up with is people playing for a month and then quitting.
Karabal
I'll tell you where it went wrong. It went wrong some time towards the end of 2007 when EA got its filthy ape paws on BioWare.

Zilrota
Hey everyone, While we understand that you would like updates and information as quickly as possible, we ask that you please see this post from Allison Berryman regarding that: http://www.swtor.com/community/showpost.php?p=4515264&postcount=11 First of all, thanks for being constructive with your post - we appreciate it when people express something that can be frustrating while being nice. I hope this will shed a little light on why you see so much "soon" sometimes: We like to give out solid dates when we have them, no doubt about that. However, we also want you to know about things we're working on - sometimes before they have a solid date. We do try to balance: the community wants to know what's going on, what's on the table, and what's coming for the game. We also want you to know that information, but in game development, deadlines and dates shift very often as a result of the multitude of variables that are part of the process (one example is having serious bugs come up in testing that require time to address). This means that we sometimes need to be vague about when a feature or change is coming. We don't want to give dates and then constantly adjust them because that creates confusion and plenty of frustration, but we do want you to know what we're working on. This often leads to us having to be vague in order to provide information, but we're always working toward the goal of delivering a date to you for anything that's coming up. We know that the vagueness can be frustrating, but silence can be, too, and we want to give you information! We'll keep working to get dates whenever we can, but I can't promise you won't see another "soon" when we talk about future plans. In order to keep things consolidated and the number of repeat threads down, we're going to go ahead and close this thread and ask that you please continue your discussion here: Dear Community Team, a humble opinion Thank you.
