  1. I believe the Inq chest from BT is hooded. It's pretty easy to get, you should be able to solo it soon or by 20, and moddable so you can use it forever.
  2. 1. Take it to the Sent forums, you'll get much more info there for players who focus primarily on playing Sents. 2. You're level 30, spec how you want and go for it. Until you hit 50, it's not a big deal (ok, you could blindly assign points and make something terrible, but it's not likely). Use pre-50 as a time to play with different builds and find what you enjoy. Experiment a bit, and if you're not happy with what you're doing, then look at some suggested builds from other Sents.
  3. They are mirrors. They have the same exact abilities and functionally are identical -- only different gear, which is ultimately the same in the end.
  4. Following the EA presentation at E3 today, we now know that a level cap increase will be coming in the not-too-distant future. Whether through a free update or a paid expansion, we'll be leveling up again within the next year. Now, assuming it goes up to 55 (could be more, but just for the sake of argument), do you think we should get another skill point at each level? The existing skill trees would have some serious potential for OP builds with 5 more points, even worse with 10, though adding another tier to each tree could offset some of this. I just know the balancing issues that increasing the level cap in WoW has created with every expansion. So i thought I'd see what other players thought: Should an increase in level also come with an increase in skill points? PS: (Keep in mind, they can always add new attacks through trained abilities, even without expanding skill trees)
  5. You are probably about the millionth person to post something like this... 1. They already have mirrors (Trooper=Bounty Hunter; Agent=Smuggler). 2. Stories would be too similar/boring. An Imperial trooper is essentially a nameless piece of walking cannon fodder, and not expected to excel like a soldier in the Republic. Also, the Agent story is already an Imperial military story. Yes, a Republic intelligence and spy story would be interesting, but again there's already a Rep military tale. With the amount of work needed to create an entirely new story (or two) in this game, they would really need to bring something new and different -- such as a full Wookiee or droid story that is different from any other experience in the game.
  6. OP: i assumed you were leveling a marauder, then i saw you say you're a Juggernaut -- you're doing it wrong. Jugg leveling is incredibly easy and you should be rocking pretty much anything at your level (including fights with elites unless you're trying to solo Heroics). You said "CC" but you really meant a 1-minute CC, which is why people are responding about Force Choke, etc... "CC" simply means Crowd Control, which Juggernauts have in abundance (especially Immortal spec) -- not just the one-minute abilities that some other classes have. No, Juggernauts don't have those, but they have multiple defensive cooldowns, heavy armor, a tank spec, and access to a healer before almost every other class in the game. For normal mobs, roll Vette and you should always be fine. For a harder target, get out Quinn and again, you should be fine. If you really find leveling so hard, respec as Immortal and gear up with a decent shield, etc. and easy mode your way to 50. PS. My main is a level 50 Jugg.
  7. Because it's been seen again and again in other games. If you have trial accounts without chat limitations gold/credit sellers WILL use it for spamming people with messages. We're not making it up; it's been seen repeatedly in other games, which is why we're at this point. Paying customers should've have to suffer through spam messages in /1 just so someone playing for FREE can more easily find a group. Plain and simple.
  8. Once again -- D3, the fastest selling PC game in history -- was released with guest passes that could be used to play a free to level 13 version of the game. It's becoming a standard move for online games (such as MMOs) as a replacement for demos that single-player games typically have. The industry and market have changed, this is just keeping up.
  9. It's not a "lousy move" -- it's standard for pretty much any MMO with a free trial.
  10. But WoW has it -- it doesn't matter that it took them so long. They are still the MMO industry leader, so it makes sense for BW to compete at the same level. Restricted weekend events only work if it's a big deal and thousands of people are clamoring to get into them. A simpler model lets people try out the game and decide if they want to pay for it -- it's a very successful method which is why games do it (such as D3 which just came out!).
  11. We do, it's just spread way, way, way, WAY too thin across too many servers.
  12. I'm pretty sure you can just get circumcised and you won't have a SWTORskin...
  13. You get it through story so character level has nothing to do with it.
  14. I still disagree. I really don't see day/night cycles as something that contributes that much gameplay or new experiences to a game. I played WoW for years and the fact that Westfall would go from day to night was NOT any kind of reason (big or small) for retaining my sub. Much bigger issues are in play that have hurt this game than the lack of day/night cycle.
  15. No. Blizzard along with many other developers are not even going to be at E3. Blizz really hasn't cared about E3 since Blizzcon turned out to be such a huge success. LA will be revealing info about 1313, but other than that, i'd be really surprised if much of anything new regarding TOR came out of E3.
