The only positive thing that 'might' happen is that custom, non-augment gear may become a viable commodity again... Speaking of why nots... why not (instead) introduce fresh gear designs... and add gear schematics that guarantee an augment slot but require crit items. I'd have preferred to see that crafters could only make augment kits to match the products of their trade instead of just picking three crafts and say "you 3 can make them all. Sorry, everyone else".
