ReiKai Posted May 8, 2012 Share Posted May 8, 2012 Darth Vader vs. Susanoo Souchiro Nagi (Tenjou Tenge) A dark lord of the Sith must take on a personification of power and evil, the likes of which he's never come across before. It was sudden and it came without warning. The sound of alarms. It boomed down the halls of the old Senate Building on Coruscant, which had been turned into the Emperor's seat of power. Something was coming. The Emperor remained seated. Vader was tasked with discerning the cause and, if needed, the elimination of the threat. It was just outside the audience room. Two of the red clad Imperial Guardsman were found. They were dead. Their bodies torn apart by something inhuman. It continued. Each step caused a thunderous sound. The padded permacrete flooring cracked beneath his foot with every purposeful act forward. He was coming for the lords. The air filled with dread. As the doors to the Audience chamber came crashing down. He entered. And it was is as if he carried all of Death with him on his shoulders. For the first time, Darth Vader was frozen in place. The Sith Lord had to face this thing. There was no choice. His future uncertain, the only thing Vader could do was stand his ground, in the face of true darkness. Mostly about martial arts and fighting...at a school. Pretty good series. Gets quite violent too. Souchiro gains over 100 different abilities by ripping them from other members of the Red Feather families (people born with unique gifts). Then had the eye of another implanted into him, which contained all of the knowledge and power of its former owner (as well as his spirit which sought to control Souichiro). His base ability, the Dragon Fist, aside from enabling him to steal the Dragon Gates (and thus special ability) of the Red Feather Families, also enables him to essentially absorb and draw in an infinite amount of chi from his surroundings. The more concentrated the chi, the more power he can gleam. Susanoo is the state in which his power is at its greatest and he becomes overwhelmed by the Dragons within his body and the evil soul of an ancient. He effectively becomes an embodiment of evil and the only thing that could stop the power of Susanoo was the power of Amaterasu. He is pretty bad-A. He can use water or even his blood as a weapon. His hair can become like blades. He can summon lightning from the Earth. As long as he is touching ground, he can perform a ground-teleport. He caught Kunai with his Eye Lids. Watch, this is what happens when he puts his foot down when only opening the Earth Dragon Gate (only one of Seven that each person possesses). Well for one, Maya and Aya are not his sisters (though Maya and Aya are sisters). Sohaku (Souichiro's father and the ancient spirit who took over his body) was ultimately defeated by them all by using the power of Amaterasu, which resided within the sword passed down through Maya's family (and what was stuck in Sohaku, like a harpoon in a whale). A power that Maya herself also possessed. So it was double Amaterasu's Reverse Dragon Gate, plus the combined spiritual force of the Jyuken members, and Souichiro himself, who all ultimately destroyed Sohaku and from this removed the thousands of Dragon Gates Souichiro had absorbed as Susanoo while crossing the world, thus returning him to more of a normal state. The entire plan was created by Souichiro's ancestor 10thousand years earlier, along with the help of Amaterasu and Aya's past existence as well. Both Amaterasu and Aya had the Dragon's Eye, which not only enhances perception, but can be used to see into the past and future, and initially enabled Aya to converse with her ancestor. Yeah, last night I racked my brain and remembered that Souchiro, or Souchiro-sama as Aya called him was the one they were training to fight their brother. It's been a about four or five years since I watched the series. EDIT: As a side note, Susanoo and Amaterasu were allies in the game Okami...
